2012 Toyota Tundra

For 2012, the Toyota Tundra full-size pickup truck offers simplified option package selection and detailed enhancements throughout the models. All Toyota Tundra models also come with standard heavy-duty battery, heavy-duty starter, windshield wiper de-icer, daytime running lights (DRL), front and rear mudguards, and heated, power, outside mirrors. An optional chrome package that includes chromed exhaust top, side mirrors, door handles and chrome clad 18-inch steel wheels, available for the Toyota Tundra DoubleCab and CrewMax.
The Toyota Tundra is offered in two grades (Tundra and Limited) and two cab styles (Regular, Double Cab and Crew Max). The Tundra also available in three wheelbase lengths (126.8, 145.7 and 164.6 inches) and three bed lengths (78.7, 97.6 and for CrewMax only, 66.7-inches).

Three engine variants available for the Toyota Tundra: the 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine with Dual Independent VVT-I is standard for Tundra Regular and Double Cab, delivers 270 hp and 278 lb-ft peak torque. The V6 engine mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The 4.6-liter DOHC i-Force develops 310 hp and 327 lb.-ft of peak torque, and the 5.7-liter DOHC i-Force V8 engine offers 381 hp and 410 lb.-ft. of peak torque. All Tundra engine variants feature an aluminum cylinder block and DOHC heads with Dual VVT-i. Both i-Force V8 engines are mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and are meet Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle certification requirements.
The Toyota Tundra is equipped with standard 18-inch styled steel wheels with P255/70 R18 tires. Limited grade models get standard 18-inch five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels with wider P275/65 R18 tires and optional 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with P275/55 R20 tires. An optional TRD Off-Road Package combines off-road tuned suspension featuring Bilstein gas-charged mono-tube shock absorbers, P275/65 R18 BFGoodrich® off-road tires on 18-inch alloy wheels, plus fog lamps, fuel tank skid plates and TRD Off-Road graphics.

The available Toyota Tundra TRD Rock Warrior Special Edition package combines a tough off-road look with rugged off-road capability. Available only as a 4×4, the truck includes Bilstein® shock absorbers and 17-inch TRD Rock Warrior forged alloy wheels with LT285/70 R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires.
