Everything Is OK Right Now

By Kevin Schoeninger

Do you find yourself in a state of low-grade anxiety much of the time? Is there a sense of pressure that unrelentingly weighs down upon you? Maybe your mind is constantly busy with thoughts about what you "have to" or "should" do.
There are many reasons you could find to support feeling stressed or anxious-the state of the world economy, the prevalence of natural disasters, the news headlines, the rhetoric of our politicians, or predictions of what lies ahead for us in 2012. Perhaps your feelings come from the unremitting presence of your debts and bills or from your never-ending TO DO List. Maybe they come from constant concerns for your loved ones.
What is it that keeps you from being happy with life right now?
No matter what your answer to that question is, there is one simple action that can turn the tide and shift your experience right here and now-being fully present. When you do that, you realize that everything is O.K.
What does that mean and how does that work?
First, being present contrasts with being worried about what may happen in the future or beating yourself up about what happened in the past. When you are present, you temporarily let go of those two time zones to more fully experience "what is" inside you and right in front of you.
Being present begins within. You become aware of sensations and feelings right now in your body. If you are used to focusing on tasks or events outside you, feeling inside your body may seem a bit odd. You may not know what that would be like-to feel inside your body. However, awakening your inner senses is a profound way to be present and a key to accessing true happiness right here and now.
You can begin very simply by becoming aware of your breathing. Take a few slow deep breaths and feel the sensation of breathing in your abdomen, your chest, your nose, and your throat. Take a moment to really enjoy the feeling of breathing fully and deeply.
Now see if you can feel the space inside your skin. You could begin by feeling the space inside your hands and fingers. Then, allow this inner sensation to spread out into your arms, torso, and head. Allow inner sensation to expand into your abdomen, hips, legs, and feet.
You may find that you can feel some areas inside your body and not others. That's O.K. Center your attention in whatever sensation you can feel. Can you notice that your thoughts become quiet as you focus on inner sensation? Or, maybe, you have thoughts about if you're doing this right or if it is a waste of your time. It's O.K. Those thoughts are normal at the start.
Learning to be present is about becoming aware of present felt sensations and differentiating these from the interpretations that you layer on top of those raw sensations. This can be a profound realization-to understand that how you interpret things is not necessarily the way things are.
As you become more aware of inner sensations, you can expand your awareness to include outer sensations that are present in your environment. Notice the fine details of your surroundings. Notice what you might normally pass by in your rush to get things done. Allow the colors, sounds, smells, and feeling of the space around you to become brighter and more vibrant. Again, notice how your mind quiets down as you do this. Also, notice any commentary that goes on inside your head.
As you notice the details inside your skin and in your surroundings, you may begin to appreciate the beauty in "what is." I suggest you actively look for that. Look for the good around you. Then, take it one step farther and move into gratitude.
What are you grateful for right now? I suggest making a list of everything you can find to be grateful for. Taking a few moments to write these things down can really shift your perception. The more you find to be grateful for, the happier you'll be.
As you actively focus into present sensations, appreciate them, and feel grateful for them, your mind continues to become quieter and quieter. Freed from your thoughts about the future and the past, you discover that everything is actually O.K. As your worries and fears recede, you realize that right now you are fine. You can handle what is happening in this moment and you may even find that things are much better than you thought.

Yield No Yards

By Lance Winslow

Sometimes you have to hold your ground, as sometimes that makes sense. You see, sometimes you must yield no yards, and if you fail to do so, you lose, along with the rest of your team. Okay so, let's talk a little bit about life's lessons and a little philosophy on that if you will.
Now then, President Obama says everything is negotiable, and I know a few lawyers who'd have you believing the same as well, but sometimes there are some things which should not be negotiable. You see, if you believe that everything is always negotiable, you're also likely to fall for anything. Perhaps it's a lot like that country song; "you have to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything." There is a lot of truth to that, you have to admit.
Okay so, if you stand for something, then chances are you stand against something else. If you stand against too many things, you're liable to make yourself a target, and prevent forward advancement in human society, especially in this day and age of political correctness. At some point in your life you will come to a place where you will have to defend what you are about be it your family, your business in the marketplace, your political views, or your integrity.
When you reach that point you will have some decisions to make, you can either dig in, or yield. If you plan on taking it and holding your ground, you better be ready for the onslaught. Indeed, the football analogy is a good one here, and I'm sure Vince Lombardi would agree. And, I'm sure he also at one time or another uttered those words; "You Will Yield No Yards!" - and if he said it, he meant it.
It is much easier to hold your ground when you have a solid team that you can believe in, where each teammate believes in the same. Yes, there is strength in numbers, and there is safety in conviction, and belief, and in those who will affirm their commitments, dedication, perseverance, and personal strength of character and will to absolutely, positively, never yield those yards. There have been sports stories, political stories, and war stories around this very topic.
There are few times in life where a man's true character can be judged. But the strength of that individual, and their mental will at the point where they make a stand will determine the worth of that man. I wish you well, and I hope that you will understand that sometimes you must not yield any yards, you must stand your ground against any adversity, any competitor, and any evil doer on this side or the other.

Law of Attraction - Not Sure You Can?

By Jenn Prothero

Have you been trying to work with the law of attraction in your life, and it's just not working? Are you wondering what is wrong with your thinking that you can't do it? What is wrong with you, don't you deserve to be happy like they say? Do you even get to the point where you feel good one day, then down in the dumps others and you wonder if you are bi polar? If so, relax, you are not alone, and you are not bi polar.
There are many people working with the law of attraction and there are just as many trying to teach you how to do it, or saying they have just the right technique for you to be able to master it. Let me just say that the techniques are great, but in the end all you need is your focused intentions.
I am speaking from experience here, I have felt all of these feelings, and thought all of these thoughts. What I have found out, is that we are here having a human experience, and we like to complicate everything, we like to get caught up in our thoughts and all the drama in life. This is where we fail at the law of attraction. Myself included. This is what I have learned.
It is very important to take control of my thoughts as soon as I wake up, I want to start positive so I can attract more positive. I heard it said, and I'm not sure who said it but it is brilliant, stay positive until 10 am and the rest of the day will look after itself. It's true. Positive affirmations may sound silly, but they are very powerful in attracting good to you. I start every day off with an affirmation, I even take it one step further and add a vision to that affirmation. For example if I were trying to manifest money, I would say, I say yes to all the new opportunities that come my way today to generate income. I will then envision myself with money floating all around me, and just stay with that as long as I can. The trick is to bring all of these thoughts and visions into your heart and feel that energy.
The next step is to go about your day, staying in tune with what you want, and keeping your energy and vibrational level high. In other words, stay with the heart energy, do things from the heart, listen to the heart. When things start to show up that are not in alignment with what you want........in other words the exact opposite of what you want.......simply say thank you and don't give it any other energy. When we put thought into why did this show up, or I don't want that, what we are doing is giving it energy, anything we give energy to will grow. Meaning you will attract more of it. Perhaps it is showing up to let you recognize it and say no, I want this, specifically. The law of attraction is very specific in fact its exact. Look at what showed up and look at exactly what you asked for and exactly where your thoughts have been.
This is the frustrating part, this is where people give up, this is where people begin to think they just can't do it or just aren't deserving enough. One of the laws states that we are willing to sacrifice for what we want, that includes our thoughts. That includes constantly looking for "the good "to show up. That also includes giving up anything that blocks us from having what we want such as limiting beliefs or even physical things we have that we are holding onto. We need to release the old in order to make room for the new. So when the old keeps showing up, just say no, that's not what I want.
I have been trying to manifest a new car, which requires money. My old car was continually breaking down costing me money I wanted to be saving to get a new one. I was always asking how can I save money for a car, when I am always putting it out for repairs. Then I got a brain wave thought, I had to give up the old in order to make room for the new. The brakes went on the car last week, and without any resentment or anger I simply took it off the road, and said you are done. I became grateful for what the car had done for me over the years. I was grateful for learning this value able lesson. I was grateful that I was healthy enough to walk until the said new car shows up. I started to realize how lucky I was. I also was finally able to really start dreaming about the new car I wanted. Prior to this, it was a passing fancy, but now it's real, I can feel myself driving it, I can feel how comfortable and safe I feel in it. That is real manifesting thoughts.
What my problem was that I was too caught up in the past, with what I already had, that was making me unhappy. With that I could not focus my thoughts on what I wanted.
You see even if we think we are doing a great job with our thoughts and energy we always have work to do. In fact this is often the only work we have to do in order to receive what it is we have asked for. The journey is about preparing ourselves to receive, about learning what is blocking us and removing those blocks. That is work enough in itself.
Next time you see something show up that is opposite of what you want, don't get down, don't get negative and don't beat yourself up about it. Simply recognize it, and move on. Train your eye to look only for the good, and to be very grateful for what is in your life. Make a list each day of what your grateful for. There are so many positive things you can do to keep your energy high even when things are not working. Keep a list of things you can try, this way when you are having an off day, rather than staying in your head you can try something that works.
Here are a few ideas,
Light a candle, allow spirit in to help you.
Go for a walk in nature.
Listen to music
Dance, move your body, it shifts energy
Cry if you want to
Write out how you are feeling then throw it out.
Positive affirmations.
These all help to stay out of the mind and stop us from becoming attached to our thoughts. Meditation works wonders to move us back into the heart and out of the head.
The worst thing we can do is give up, beat ourselves up, or give thought to why things are not showing up. With persistence and vigilant watch over our thoughts and emotions, we will bring to us that which we want. It starts out small almost as if wanting us to recognize it and say yes, more please. See the small things, and celebrate them, be peacefully thankful for them and they will grow. We all have the same manifesting abilities, we all deserve to have our desires met, we are all capable of doing this, just keep doing it, it gets better, in fact make a game of it.

Take Action: Dealing With Emotional Triggers

By April E O'Leary

One of the most challenging steps anyone can take in the process of goal achievement, parenting, financial success, career advancement, weight loss, emotional health or any such personal endeavor is realizing that triggers are not external annoyances as much as they are internal indicators. Once you accept that it is your responsibility to deal with your own triggers, and the best (and only) way to do this is by looking inside of you, rather than trying to control your outside circumstances or the people around you, you are ready to take action!
MAKE A LIST OF ALL YOUR TRIGGERS
The second step to dealing with triggers is to take action and make a complete list of all the triggers you notice that surface in your life on a regular basis. How do you know if something is a trigger? The litmus test to identify a trigger is if you are responding emotionally. Maybe at 5:00 everyday you are impatient to the point of yelling at your children? Maybe when the topic of money comes up with your spouse you get defensive? Maybe when you talk politics with your father you get angry? Maybe there are certain types of people you can't tolerate? Maybe certain foods cause an emotional response? Don't overlook it. Write it down.
It is best to compile as long and complete a list as possible, so you can really SEE on paper what you are dealing with. Think of situations, people and locations. Think of topics of conversation. Try to notice patterns. The idea is that the list of triggers opens up your awareness. Maybe your children fighting causes you to jump in and play referee, so you write it down. Then the next day you notice this same thing happening again. Ah! There it is! You noticed it again. Now you are making progress!
It is not better if it is a short list, or worse if it is a long list. The fact that you are taking ownership of your reactivity and trying to identify personal patterns is in short, amazing! For now it is enough to just make the list. Don't worry about what to do next. That will come. For now, keep listing. Keep a paper taped inside of your kitchen cabinet and add to it over time. After you react, think about it. Try to identify what it was that triggered you and write it down. Congratulate yourself for having the courage to look more deeply and start slowing down when you sense a trigger is coming on. You'll be amazed how slowing down will diffuse a lot of those trigger moments.

How to Manifest Your Dreams and Desires

By Lianne Fernandes

Welcome Dear Friend to my world of manifestation. Have you ever wondered how to manifest your very own desires with ease? Have you read about the Law of Attraction and do you truly believe in it? Or do you believe in what you have been programmed to believe through religion, society, family and friends. My dear friends I strongly believe in my God and I know that my God wants the best for all of us. He has given us the power to create our destinies by giving us our own powerful minds. You are much more powerful than you may realize. Now even if you do not believe in God that's okay because these are universal laws and it's for all of us out there in the world. You can manifest your desires, transform your life 360 degrees and impact your world in astonishing ways. For this change you need faith, unwavering faith and positive thoughts. However thinking positive thoughts, believing as if it is already yours etc are not enough because Manifestation is About Alignment...
The Alignment that I'm talking about is the Conscious and Subconscious Alignment. Your Conscious desires and your Subconscious intention must match and have the same vibration. If your Conscious Mind wants money and your Subconscious Mind believes that money is the root of all evil (counter-intention) then it is impossible to create what you want. It's that simple, so all you need to do is start working on altering those limiting, negative pre-programmed beliefs to newer more positive beliefs. You can alter your old subconscious beliefs by repeating positive affirmations and thus raising their vibrations to match your conscious vibrations and becoming completely aligned. If you know what your conscious mind wants and work on your negative subconscious beliefs you will indeed create your own world, you will manifest your desires and dreams.
I would like to share with you a technique I use to align my Conscious and Subconscious thoughts. Whenever I catch myself thinking a negative thought I immediately scream CANCEL, CANCEL in my mind and think of any thought that puts a smile on my face i.e. I replace the negative thought with a happy thought. Once the happy thought brightens up my mood, which happy thoughts always do I start repeating and visualizing a positive affirmation opposite to that earlier negative thought. There are times I add a tune to the affirmation and sing it. To give you an example: I am thinking about not having enough money a negative thought right, so I immediately say cancel, cancel in my mind or if I'm at home I say it out loud and then think of my angelic daughter showering hugs and kisses on me. Once I feel better with thoughts about my baby girl I repeat and visualize one of the many affirmations I have. The affirmation may say I am swimming in the ocean of abundance and I always have money when I need it, or more money flows into my life than flows out. You can create your own affirmations but keep them in the present tense.

How To Be A Financial Success

By Ann Moynihan

True financial success isn't a property that only the privileged few are allowed to own. You don't have to be born into it, and it's not necessary to get a degree from Harvard to make it happen. Financial success is all about understanding the principles that the wealthy follow, and then incorporating those into your own life.
Here are 5 tips for becoming a financial success that you can take to the bank.

Tip #1 - Keep Thorough Financial Records
This means counting every single penny that you spend or earn. It can be tough to get into a habit of keeping all of your receipts and maintaining a personal budget, but it's necessary to get a full understanding of your money and how you are using it. Sometimes we think all of our money is going to bills and food, but really it's being spent on beer, dinner out, and other frivolous things.
The trick isn't to stop having fun, but just to give yourself a budget for fun, and then finding other, cheaper ways to enjoy yourself, and soon you might be one step closer to financial success.
Tip #2 - Make Your Time Worth It
It sounds really simple on the surface - if you're going to do something, make sure you're getting paid enough - but a lot of people have trouble with following this tip. Do some research into your job description to find out what other people are being paid for the same work. You might find out that you're being underpaid for what you're worth, at which point it's time to switch jobs. You can't be a financial success by giving away your time.
Tip #3 - Spend Less Than You're Earning
This is another one of those financial success tips that sounds so easy on the surface, but that so many people struggle to adhere to. The point is simple: if you want to build up your money, don't spend more than what you have. Once you start doing that, you cross the line into the lair of the beast we call debt.
It's understandable that this can be difficult if you earn very little, but there are always ways to cut corners and get by with what you're earning. Consider this: those who have achieved financial success don't use credit cards.
Tip #4 - Eliminate Debt
There's that word again - debt. So many people are afraid of it, and yet so many people are lying in bed with it every single night. If you want to experience your own financial success, you can't owe anything to anybody. The first thing to do is start paying off debt whenever possible. Make a goal to pay a little every month.
Tip #5 - Believe in Yourself
This may seem a little silly, but constantly telling yourself that you are going to be a financial success can be the catalyst that takes you out of the middle class and into the elite. The mind is a powerful force, and training it to think a certain way will be a huge benefit to your success.
Wealth is a road that is open for anybody to walk down. Are you going to take the steps to reach financial success, or just spend another year wishing you had?
