Anxiety: A Tool for Success - Learn How To Turn Anxiety To Your Advantage!

By Isabelle Hamptonstone

Each day our thoughts present us with an opportunity to be anxious.
Problem:
Often we feel anxiety and worry about a particular part of ourselves and/or our sport or business. Often we feel powerless to control this anxiety. In this article, we learn how to not only take back the power, but also to use the anxiety to our own advantage. From here we can start to make a huge difference to our day to day lives and to use anxiety to our advantage.
The key here is what goes on in the mind, and is a challenge many of the sports professionals and business executives I work with have come up against.
Education:
The answer to almost every mental challenge faced by us all is hidden in the subconscious mind. This is the part of the mind that is very powerful, and is far less easy to communicate directly with than the conscious mind. With training, this becomes easier.
My Tip:
I advise you to be aware that anxiety is a poke from the unconscious mind that it is time to focus on what you DO want.
When we take a look at what is happening when we are anxious, we find that we are focusing on what we DON'T want with our thoughts.
So if an athlete is anxious about his performance - guess what their subconscious mind is going to offer up? - Yep you've guessed it - examples of poor performance!
Learning
Here's the learning folks - USE ANXIETY AS A TOOL. Becoming anxious tells you categorically to change your focus to the positive.
If you have a competition or important event coming up and you feel uneasy, gently refocus on a positive outcome. Do this each and every single time an anxious thought comes up for you. It will take repetition. Every new movement does. This will be you training your "memory muscle".
It's the same in life and work as in sport. Daily I check in with my own thoughts. Often the first sign I have that my thoughts are not optimum is when I realize I feel uncomfortable or uneasy. As soon as I realize that's happening I know I have allowed my mind to wander to thoughts that bring me no success.
Enjoy thinking yourself into being positive, after all you train your body each day and you are an amazing individual - why not use mental training as a tool to give you your edge to win?
Train yourself to be your best! Izzy

Be Great

By Lance Winslow

Are you one who wants to make a dent in the world? Really do something great with your life? Do you want to be someone that people say "leads by example" and truly have earned that observation by your fellow man and peers? Well, then, you can you know, but you have to affirm that you "will" to do whatever it takes, that you will live your life that way, and that you will be great, by believing in yourself, your cause, and the future. You have to affirm that you will make it happen in the present and future. Will you "will" yourself to do that, if so "affirm it" and mean it. How can you do this you ask?
Well, do this for me; look into your mirror, into your eyes, and say it, say it like you mean it, and believe it. You will transform yourself into the person you wish to be. Affirm action, and the attributes you wish to possess, become one with your vision, your goals, and then inevitably with your future accomplishments and achievements. Anyone can affirm anything, but it's those who believe who ultimately achieve - it's those who want it, go out and get it, and affirm in advance of their activities, as they accelerate towards their affirmations.
Being Great is not putting up a sign on your Facebook Page - look at me, I'm great, and I suppose if that makes you happy it's all good, but you can do better than that. You might put up your goals for the future, so you can have witnesses who help you pursue those dreams and ambitions in life, that can certainly help, but more importantly you must have strength from within, you must be dedicated to the cause, and commit yourself to future victory, and achievement, and yes, that will take some strong affirmations on your part.
Strip your mind of intimidation of the tasks ahead, affirm that you will meet any challenge, conquer any hardship, and deny any detractors along the way. Affirm that you will get up, dust yourself off, and do it again, and again, and again, if that's what it takes, and if your goals are lofty, it surely will take all that and more.
How would I know this?
How do you think?
Yes, it's going to take some strong affirmations, continued inner support, mental toughness, and if you can do that, your body will follow, it will follow you to hell and back, I am certain of that. Just remember if you have to go through that place to get to where you are going, then once you do get going don't stop, keep on going and never give up.
Be Great!

Ways To Attract Money Now

By Mattie Taylor

Although money is not everything, it certainly is important in your life. People who say that they do not care about money or money is not important to them are hypocrites. Surely, we need money. We use money to acquire the basic needs and services we require like food, shelter and health. This article deals with how to attract money now so you can have what you need.
The philosophy that money is the root of all evil is somewhat very misleading. Money, if used for the greater good, is a very benevolent thing. The evilness or goodness of money depends on the way you look at money. It also depends on how you use it. if you let it take control of you and your life revolves around it, then that should not be good.

So here are several tips on how to attract money now.
1. This may sound weird but try to give away money. Allocate at least 10% of your monthly income to give away to whatever or whoever you want. You can give to the needy, or to a group who does research to find the cure for AIDS. But remember, do not be reluctant to give it away - give money with all your heart.
2. Synchronize your beliefs and intentions. Your beliefs are abstract representations of what you think like the phrase "money is the root of all evil".
Bob Proctor has said it well, "Money is good, I am the master. Money is the servant, I am prosperous, I am wealthy." By being the master of money means that it has no control over you.
3. Get inspiration from a role model. There is no shortage of successful people around the world. Find your inspiration in them. Learn about what they did so that they would become successful. When you have learned the way they took to become who they are, emulate them. Their biographies are a good start.
4. Being rich is not bad, as long as you achieve it in a legal and moral way. Just remember that when you become rich, use your money in a good way. Just think that with you money you have, you can help many people and many causes. This would make you feel very fulfilled like you have ever been before.
5. Choose people who have a positive and active aura around them. Assess them with their positive and negative traits. Stick with them so you can become positive and active as well.
6. Appreciate and always thank God for the things that you have in your life. Doing this makes you feel good about yourself and this will attract more things to you.
7. If you want to attract money, act now! The moment you get an idea, immediately act on it and find ways to implement your idea. Do not start pondering on another idea until you have realized that first one.

Ms. Susan Boyle: An Inspiring Story

by: Amy twain

By the time you read this, you probably heard of the inspiring life story of Susan Boyle. A 47-year old, unemployed, never been married (and never been kissed) woman from Scotland who elicited lots of praises and compliments not just from the three judges, but also from millions of people across the universe, thanks to Youtube.

Her inspiring story spread rapidly like wildfire and inspires others (especially underdogs and dark horses like her) to reach for your dreams no matter what. The Britain’s Got Talent contestant (by far the most popular these days), delivered a strong performance backed up with an even appropriate and inspirational song, “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. I like watching that show, in the sense that Britain’s Got Talent is indeed about talent. It’s about talent through and through, despite your looks, and your age. And what I even like most about the inspiring story of Ms. Susan Boyle is that it’s as if she’s the epitome of dreaming and believing in your dreams—and not putting an age limit to your dreams and goals.

What makes this inspiring story so appealing to the masses, is the fact that we have a not-so-young dreamer dreaming to be a professional singer (wants to be as successful as Elaine Page at that!), when generally, dreaming is associated for the young and their promising future. But here, we have Susan Boyle to change the face of dreaming big and giving us her inspiring story.

Truly, she’s not just a living example, but also a living inspiration as well! I know of other singing competitions that imposed age limits on their contestants. It’s good that Britain’s Got Talent never limits their contestants for a certain age bracket only. Why this allure about second chances and underdogs and dark horses? And why not—it just goes to show that all of us, at some moments in our lives, can relate to being underdogs, since we experienced what it feels like being an underdog ourselves.

We want to inspired and strengthened after failure, rejection, and frustration. An inspiring story like Susan Boyle’s is just one strong validation and we felt justified that we can be like her. She’s also a real person (and not just any fictitious character) and she’s like one of us, living an ordinary life but who wants to have a better life.

So, how who can resist this inspiring story? As we live our day to day struggle in our lives, we all need some bits of inspiration to make us smile, enlightened, hopeful and optimistic for our future. And we don’t need pretty faces, toned muscles, almost-perfect hair that light up our TV screens to make us inspired.

On the contrary, it’s those flawed, ordinary-looking individuals which we can relate to that make us more humane and we can say, “If she can do it, I can too.” And I love that smiling aura of Ms. Boyle devoid of any arrogance or self-pity (unemployed, but still looking) when asked what she’s going to do onstage.

She said, “I’m gonna wow the audience”. And boy, she did more than just that—she even received a standing ovation not just from the crowd, but also from the two judges. Everybody’s got an inspiring story---what’s yours?

Learning To Improve Your Memory Information

by: Timothy Romano

Have you experienced the embarrassment of forgetting a family member's birthday or an important assignment? Are you in school and are finding it toilsome to study successfully for exams and tests? It's not just you! Thousands and thousands of individuals out there have the same challenge, and it doesn't just affect senior citizens. In school, they never teach you improve your memory information, or the time-tested strategies for successful memorization.

Your brain is a very able piece of machinery. The organ collects data and thoughts, and then categorizes and stores them. For the information in the brain to be used beneficially, it must be available for quick retrieval. One such case of quick recall would be answering a question like, "how old are you," or "what is your address?" How many of you have searched high and low for a pair of eyeglasses, and found them right on your head? Maybe you have forgotten something more important like a project at work, or a homework assignment. The good news is that you don't have to keep worrying about your memory. Regardless of age or ability, there are lots of things you can do to exercise, and improve the performance of your memory.

Sometimes the best "improve your memory information" can be found by asking someone who's got a lot of experience under her belt. My grandmother used to tell me about an old trick to help remind myself of something I had to remember. The technique is to tie a piece of yarn on your finger, or put some tape on your hand to serve as a reminder that you had to remember to do something. Since the string or tape is out of the ordinary, it will help you remember what you were supposed to do. You could tie a string on your thumb, wear your watch upside down, or even set an alarm on your mobile phone. The secret is to mix up your normal environment just enough to tune you in to the fact that something is wrong and you have something to remember.

You can also try creating a picture to help improve the effectiveness of your memory. The easiest way to accomplish this is to create a scene in your mind of what you are trying to remember. In my language learning hobby, I have found this technique very effective in learning new vocabulary. This is how it works. "Potato," in the German language, is pronounced cart-awfol, which is in no way like to the word potato in English. Try to form the following image in your mind. You're shopping for groceries at a store in Berlin and see a gigantic cart of rotten potatoes. Your buddy exclaims, "That is a cart of awful potatoes!" Implant the image in your mind and think about how bad that smells. I'll bet that you'll remember the German word! If your image is wild and imaginative, even a little dirty, you are much more likely to remember your vocabulary word. It works, believe it! This is a system I have employed over many hundreds of words in several languages. Try it! You can use this helpful trick to remember far more things than German vocabulary!

These are just a few ways you can supercharge your brain. The improve your memory information that I've shown you here is easy enough that you can start practicing right away! In no time, your memory will be much improved, thanks to the new techniques you've learned and practiced.

The Money Making Key

By Winston Zvirikuzhe

It is interesting how many books a person can read on money and still not get what the key is to making money. Money by itself is just an idea and a product of that idea which in its own right has a science to it just like anything else we know. The key is simply and never complicated.
While it is true that we can think and grow rich it is also true that sitting and dreaming only makes you a lazy person. Thinking is important and believing is just as important. The laws of attraction are just as applicable as at any time in the making of money, however this is not the key. For any domain in the world there is a single key that opens the door. We can come up with all these different ideas and recognize that making money requires knowledge, marketing skills, belief, management, vision, mission and all
that but at the end, these things are only but just the building blocks of a house. All these things are windows, doors, bricks, roofs, floors in the house of making money. For any house which is built and complete to perfection, if that house is locked you cannot enter as long as you do not have the key. The key is the smallest thing which is part of the house but it is the strategic resource which secures and opens the way into the house. Sometimes people may enter into the house of making money through the window but it will never last forever until you have the key in your hands.
Money by its nature is paper and coins, which in real use have no use at all. If anything paper money is good for using in the fire just like any other newspaper would be useful yet it seems to have power. Power by proper definition is simple being able to influence and money is able to influence events through the influencing of the imagination of people because they choose to allow it. We can take two billion and put it into the street and ask it to start building a house, and we leave it to do its work for two years whilst we go away. The obvious thing is that money will not build anything until someone believes that it is valuable and then is willing to do the building in exchange for the money. It will also need that another person must be willing to believe that the money is valuable enough for the person to exchange their building material for the money. Yet what we miss is that it is still possible to build a house in a world absent of money simple by getting the material and building. It is like living outside the city where the resources are; in such cases our ancestors never needed money to build a house yet they could build and sustain themselves. If you can understand this example you are close to getting the key to making money.
A person who buries money in the ground proves that a seed is more useful than a coin put in the ground because at least the seed germinates and from it you can get food. Plants are more useful than money in that by themselves if they are in the right place they can grow without any person believing in them. Money on the other hand if there is no person around it is useless and cannot achieve anything. Money hence needs people to believe in its value for it to become useful which is why the believing becomes important. It is in this that we begin to understand why belief is so important to money yet money is just paper. When a person has a car which is worth twenty thousand dollars, that does not mean anything because twenty thousand dollars does not mean anything as it is just a number. The same car at an auction can be sold for thirty thousand and still that does not anything because thirty thousand is just a number of beliefs. The car is useful but its true value can never be valued by number it is only valued by what the car represents in terms of what it can do. By now you might be starting to get an idea of what the key to making money is.
A good definition of money is that money is just a belief of value expressed in numbers, which we then give a representation through paper and coins. If you want to be rich you need an idea which people believe is worth a certain number you propose. For example, Bill Gates became rich because he proposed an idea and expressed it as a product to which a value was then assigned to that product and people believed. Being rich is not about the capital that you need to start a business and making money, it is not about the business or the salary; it is simply about ideas that people are willingly to put a value on to. Everything you have ever bought in your life was just an idea that was given a value. People will pay for anything as long as you make them believe it is useful to them. They will buy cologne, wine, phones, books, clothes, pay for electricity, buy water, and even buy stones. Diamonds are just shiny stones and so are all jewels, but because people believe in them they will pay whatever price is proposed on them, just like wedding rings. People will finish their savings to have the best wedding which leaves them broke for the next two years simply because they believe in the value of it. It is only when you go beyond their mental acceptance of pricing that they will refuse a product, so take care in that regard.
Think of anything you have ever come across and this key is the same. Think of Facebook, Google, iPhone, Nokia, Louis Vuitton, Ferrari, Microsoft Windows, sliced bread, and McDonalds; these are all ideas which when you buy, you buy believing that they have a certain value. It does not mean that this is the real value but the fact is someone has done a good job in convincing you that this is the value. Remember about the two billion dollars left in the street, it has no value and cannot do anything until someone believes that it has values and is willing to work for it.
Money on its own is useless but if you make people believe in what money can bring to their lives, they will be willing to kill, fight, and die for it. It is just an idea which people believe can bring them some sort of advantage. This is when people advertise they claim that their product will do specific things for you. All that everyone is trying to do is convince you to put a value to their product. Money is just a psychological tool that any person can use to gain advantage in life. If you want to make money very fast in life, find out what people believe is worth their money and sell it to them; that is the key to making money.

So, You Want to Be a Millionaire, Do You?

By Steve Youngman

The desire for people to achieve millionaire status is universal. There are no lack of programs, courses, membership programs and mentors purporting to show you how to make millions.
Yet, with all this valuable knowledge and education out there, most people are still not achieving the wealth they desire. So, what is the problem?
Is it the program or is it the individual "using" the program?
In this context, the term "using" is probably the wrong word. For some reason, around 90% of people that invest in business or personal development programs NEVER get past the first chapter. They never actually "use" the program to start with.

This figure is very disturbing and explains why most people fail to achieve their goals. The failure to follow through and take action is the number one reason most people fail to become millionaires.
Their failure has nothing to do with the programs they invest in. Yes, while some programs are garbage and don't deliver on what they promise, the majority of business programs do work, and if implemented as taught, can make the students millions of dollars.
The programs are not the problem, rather it's the individual that is the problem.
This is the opposite view taken by most people, especially the get rich quick junkie, who bounces from one program to the next, always looking for that magic bullet. Until you realize you are the problem, you will never become a millionaire.
People seem to like buying programs, but they are not too keen on using them. They invest money in the programs but then they don't invest the time and effort to make them work.
One reason for this lack of action is due to the fact that becoming a millionaire, or getting rich, is not a priority for them in their life.
The desire to become a millionaire must be the number ONE priority in your life. It must be more important than anything else you do. This means you must spend the most amount of time, energy and effort into it.
Once you are a millionaire, you can then change your priorities. Most people fail because "becoming a millionaire" is not their number one priority. In most cases, it's not even a priority to begin with. Other distractions take up their time.
This can easily be proven by looking at their habits. These 3 questions will illustrate this point.
How many hours a day do they spend working towards becoming a millionaire?
How many hours of TV a day do they watch?
Is this second number larger than the first?
For most people, the answers to the above questions are 0, 4 and yes.
They spend no time working on their financial goals, yet can somehow squeeze in a few hours of TV everyday. It is clear from their habits and actions that watching TV is a bigger priority in their life than getting rich.
Clearly, in that case, you are not going to become a millionaire if you spend no time on that goal.
You must change your priorities to change your results.
Once something is a priority, you then allocate time to it. This time is when you take action on implementing all that knowledge found in the business programs.
If you say you want to be a millionaire, but you are not acting in a way to make yourself a millionaire, you are lying to yourself.
Your actions should speak louder than your words. So, do you still want to be a millionaire?
Yes, then make it a priority

Money, Love and Beliefs

By Si Duncan

There is so much emotion connected with money and just as many opinions, judgments and statements. There are songs, sayings and numerous books on the subject. Money pervades just about everything in our society. It has become one of life's essentials, but what is it exactly? Money is of no use in and of itself, rather it is a root to other things, both material and otherwise. And why do many peo
ple find it so difficult to have and hold onto money whilst for others it flows easily? Like so many things, it comes down to beliefs.
Everyone is brought up with beliefs about money. These beliefs stem from what we hear and see around us, and how we interpret that.
'Money doesn't grow on trees', 'Money doesn't make you happy' or 'Money is the root of all evil' are just 3 of the multitude of negative beliefs that we hear about money. Added into this mix is the fact that we all need money, there are huge industries set up for the sole purpose of making money, there are more get rich schemes that you could count and millions of people die in poverty whilst others have more money than they know what to do with.
It's a very confusing world as far as money is concerned. Or so it seems.
Your relationship with money is entirely dependent on your beliefs about it and about yourself in relation to it. As an example, if you believe, either consciously or subconsciously, that money confers status whilst at the same time believing like so many do, 'I'm not good enough', then you cannot accept money in your life as the two beliefs are contradictory. If money should come to you, somehow you quickly get rid of it.
So how does this work?
You create your reality. What you give out into the world is what comes back to you. That is the 'like attracts like' principle. However what you think you give out may not necessarily match with what you actually give out, and that is where your beliefs come into play. Your beliefs are your overriding energy pattern. They are born of a lifetime of experiences and are ingrained into your subconscious. Every thought you think and every feeling you have has an energy connected with it, and that energy goes out into the world and contributes to forming your reality. So if you think poor or negative thoughts and feel poor or negative feelings then you create a poor reality. Of course the converse is true too, however behind all your thoughts and feelings are your beliefs, so you can affirm positive statements all you like, but if your underlying belief is negative, then negativity in one form or another is what will manifest.
So drop all those beliefs that do not serve you. Stop believing that you're not worthy, stop believing that money is corrupt, stop believing that nobody loves you. They are only beliefs and they're not even yours - most of them came from your parents, school or society. It is time to let go. It is time to start loving every aspect of life, money included.
Most of all, it is time to start loving yourself.
Only when you do this can your life start to turn around. For some this comes in the form of a life transforming epiphany, for most it comes little by little as they uncover the many layers of negative beliefs and replace them with love. Every day and every moment is an opportunity to love life, to change beliefs, to accept love, peace, joy and abundance in all its forms into your life. Change your life now. Connect with the love that is always there by dropping the beliefs that supposedly keep you safe, but which in reality imprison you. Allow your love to show itself and to go out into the world, and gratefully and gleefully accept it when it comes back to you in whatever form. You really are worth it.

The Flow of Money and How to Allow It in Your Life

By Si Duncan

Money flows. Or not, as the case may be. Actually money always flows. The only time it appears not to flow is when there is something restricting it. It doesn't stop flowing, it's just that at the point of the obstruction the flow rate is zero, so instead is will flow somewhere else more conducive.
What's the flow of money like in your life?
Water flows too. Easily and readily, though it too cannot flow where there is an obstacle. But it isn't bothered, it just flows around if it can. If it can't flow for whatever reason, it just sits and slowly dissipates until it dries up. Of course what water really likes is more water. First a drop, then a trickle, a stream, a river and finally the ocean. A continuous cycle.
So what is happening in your life? What are the boulders in your stream which restrict or divert the flow of money? More importantly, how can you shift them and allow the money to flow easily?
Think of yourself as a lake. A money lake. Money (water) flows in to feed this lake at one end, and at the other end it flows out. In theory it's a healthy balance. However there are many different types of lakes in the world. Some are large and steady and enjoyed by many, whilst others dry up completely on a regular basis. Whatever type of lake you are, my guess is that you would like at least to maintain a healthy body of water with an inbound flow which at least matches the outflow.
Let's imagine that. Close your eyes and picture yourself as a lake - ideally one that you know and that has always been there. The size is up to you. You may be a huge lake person or just a local leisure lake or reservoir. You are very beautiful and you hold a lot of life and give enjoyment to many people. At one end, and maybe at various other points, there are rivers which flow into you, constantly replenishing you. They have a reasonably steady and reliable flow and will always be there. They bring fresh water, life and a wonderful energy to you.
Notice how this feels. Revel in that feeling. Enjoy it. Feel secure in it in the knowledge that it is always there. Allow it to fill you up and surround you. Then when you are ready, start to share this feeling knowing that as you do so, not only will it touch others, but it will further enhance your feeling. Bring your focus to the outflow of your lake for this is your means of sharing. As the water flows out, it allows space for more fresh water to flow in. There is a constant flow of fresh water which rejuvenates and encourages growth and life, and which passes on to others to allow them to grow and benefit too. All the time you are this wonderful and ever flowing body of water, teaming with life and peace and joy.
Stay with this for as long as you like and then open your eyes when you are ready.
That feeling - the one that you identified - is what will help you to allow the flow of money in your life. Feel that feeling every day until it becomes a part of who you are, for it is that feeling that will attract more of what gives you that feeling into your life.
As you feel, so you create. As you are, so you become

How Can I Prosper in These Economic Times?

By Dr Ed Moloney

Quite a few people are asking this and similar questions. With the world economic situation in turmoil and the housing market seemingly in an endless downward spiral, they wonder what to do. The answer is that outside conditions need not govern your life. You must always keep in mind that, struggle, worry and stress just leads to more struggle, worry and stress.

This is a lack of mentality and that will only attract more lack. This is not what you want. Remember we are all non-physical/spiritual beings living in a physical world. For many, it is a matter of getting back in touch with their non-physical/spiritual side and focusing on what they do want as opposed to what they do not want or do not have.
It does not matter what other people think or say, nor does it matter what is going on in the world around you. What matters are your wishes, dreams and desires and that is where your focus needs to be. When Edison was asked about the ten thousand failed attempts in trying to invent the light bulbs, his response was I have not failed ten thousand times, I simply discovered ten thousand ways it would not work. This needs to be your approach. Resolving the internal conflicts and contradictions and keeping focus on what it is you want to attract. Remaining steadfast in what you are working toward, undaunted in your commitment. That is what will get you there. This is what leads to being on the road to a potent and successful life.
Many years ago, there was a little Japanese man, who developed an interest in motor vehicles. He went and studied them and opened a repair shop in a small town in Japan. He built up an excellent following; however, this was not his dream. He put together a small amount of money, moved to a much larger city, and continued repairing cars, however, his dream was to build motorcycles and that is what he began doing. After numerous attempts, he finally had three bikes that he entered in the Isle of Mann race.
They did not win, but all three finished. That began his reputation. He went on to become the largest manufacturer of motor cycles in the world. You may have heard of him, his name was Honda. This is one example of a dream undaunted and that is what it takes.

Money Making Opportunities: How to Get Lucky More Often

By Roberta Gerrick

Some people in life seem to always be in the right place at the right time. Whether they happen to meet an old colleague at a coffee shop who introduces them to profitable money making opportunities or they find a $100 bill in a random parking lot, fortunate events seem to be a commonplace occurrence in their life.
It's easy to believe that some people are just lucky. However, that is
not true at all. Studies show that people who seem to attract more fortunate events and opportunities in their life actually share several traits. If you want to be luckier and attract bigger and better money making opportunities in your life then you need to adopt these mindsets.
3 Tips for Attracting More Money Making Opportunities
Take More Chances
People who appear to be luckier in life than others may only be so because statistics favors the bold. Successful people tend to take more chances than unsuccessful people and the more risks you take the more likely one of those risks will pay off in a big way with opportunities to make money or increased visibility of your business. You see this all the time in sports. In fact, Michael Jordan illustrates this perfectly when he said:
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
You may miss 50% of the shots you take but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Be Open to Money Making Opportunities
A survey done by psychologist Richard Wiseman found that people who seem to be luckier were actually just more open to the possibilities of life. During an experiment he conducted where people self reported whether they felt lucky or not, he had both groups count the number of pictures they found in a newspaper. People who self reported being lucky were able to find them within a few seconds while it took about 2 minutes or more for the unlucky group to find the same pictures.
According to Wiseman, the reason for this discrepancy is that unlucky people are so focused on a singular purpose that they often overlook the opportunities that are right under their nose.
'Unlucky people miss chance opportunities because they are too focused on looking for something else. They go to parties intent on finding their perfect partner, and so miss opportunities to make good friends. They look through the newspaper determined to find certain job advertisements and, as a result, miss other types of jobs. Lucky people are more relaxed and open, and therefore see what is there, rather than just what they are looking for.'
If you want to increase the number of money making opportunities that flow into your life, then you need to keep yourself open to all the possibilities surrounding you. You may not find a million dollar idea but you could come upon a way to generate a sizeable amount of passive income that will take you one step further towards your goal.
Look for Ways to Turn Misfortune Around
Bad things happen. It is an unfortunate fact of life. However, successful people who seem to have a constant flow of money earning opportunities have mastered the art of being able to take lemons and turn them into lemonade.
It is no secret that many of the Fortune 500 companies in existence today were started during the Great Depression. Something good can come out of most bad situations. It is just a matter of developing the mindset to always look for the bright side. More often than not, that is where you will find your money making opportunities.
Anyone can experience more luck in their life. Make a habit of keeping your eyes and ears open to the world around you and you'll find that the number of money making opportunities in your life will increase dramatically.

Attraction of Money - Why Some People Cannot Attract Money

By Tevin Sterling

When was the last time you attracted money into your reality? Has it been a while? Have you ever even done it?
You most likely used visualization techniques. Maybe you even convinced your mind to believe that the money was on its way. The feeling of abundance may have come to you while your eyes were closed. Maybe you mentally walked through that multi-million dollar luxury mansion that is way out reach for your current income. I've been there, and done that as well.

So what happened afterwards? Did the attraction of money come into your life?
If you are reading this article, I'm willing to bet that you didn't. This is coming from a guy that doesn't like to gamble! So what does this mean? Is attraction based manifestation a bunch of hocus pocus?
For some time I was wrestling with the thought that this could be true. I found myself jumping from guru to guru, trying different methods and techniques to creatively convince the universe to bring money into my life. Since it wasn't working; either I was wrong or they were. I shuddered at the idea that these seemingly well intentioned experts were just very good "snake oil" salesmen.
If I was the one making the mistakes, then where was I going wrong? How could others "get it" where I haven't a clue on how to attract money?
All options considered to exhaustion. Think of a world where law of attraction did not exist. You'd be looking at a world that was at the mercy of chance occurrences. If that were the case, then you'd probably have animals with legs for heads and no mouths. Evolution wouldn't exist because it's not random.
If all was up to chance then on some days the Earth would go around the moon and vice versa. Wouldn't it? The universe is so ordered in such ways that it's impossible for it to even exist if you want to consider a reality based on randomness. Thus, I would have to consider myself to be part of that order. But how much am I controlled by it or influenced by it? If my thoughts can cause my hand to move an object, then I must have some influence over reality, right?
So this only would mean that I've been doing something wrong and these experts were right.
But what was it that I'm just not getting?
I took to studying, reading about, and watching as many people as I found that were "naturally successful." The purpose of this was to find their similarities and what made it so easy to them to create so much prosperity in their lives. Many late nights were filled banging my head against the wall, trying to figure them out. Then it finally hit me! The answer was in front of me the whole time.
They actually weren't doing anything special. They were just being themselves. And by being this way they were able to bring prosperity (in various forms) into their lives.
They started "being" rather than "doing." Regardless of if it's intentional or not, you are always "being" something. Why not "be" something purposefully. Be someone that attracts happiness, health, and wealth. Being a master at manifesting great things into your life is something you already have in you. Think of it this way; when you are planning your vacation your are a state of absolute certainty that it will happen. This clarity without doubt is the essence of law of attraction.
Most people get caught up in learning the latest "trick" or "technique" when it comes to the attraction of money and other things. But that's all related to "doing." And it simply doesn't work.
I specialize in self hypnosis and subliminal hypnosis. Once of the occurring themes in many self hypnosis programs is to put you in a condition of being in order to achieve a certain outcome. Almost like a light switch you can alter your state of being on demand. So learning how to attract on demand is possible too.
Manifesting money and worrying about money are two things that cancel each other out. You just can't do it both. Think of it like trying to drive while one foot pushes on the brake while the other pushes on the gas simultaneously. You'd be going nowhere fast and wasting energy doing it.
If knowing how to expel negative feelings while manifesting money was a state of "being" for you, do you think you'd have any issues attracting prosperity into your life?
Absolutely NOT!
The difference is the mindset. When you are "being" something it's permanent and a part of your. When you are "doing" something it's only for the time you are taking the action. I manifested paying off both of my car loans by switching my thinking this way.

How to Rewire Your Brain to Make Lots of Money

By Mike Ward

It's not hard to make money. You just have to know what you're doing.
What exactly are you doing when you buy something? You are exchanging a bit of paper or some coins for a product, right? (Excluding all forms of debt)
This exchange must benefit you in some way: more than keeping the money in your pocket. Otherwise you wouldn't enter into the transaction would you?. Every successful product in every
market benefits people more than the money it costs. But as well as that, the benefits themselves are needed and/or wanted by people.
Now, to get the money to pay for the product you have to swap something of yours (e.g., time or effort) that somebody else needs or wants from you, for the money. Okay?
So money is like a token of value which you can exchange for other values. Instead of messing about swapping products with other people's products (bartering) and limiting yourself to what you can actually get, you swap your value for money and then buy what the heck you like.
Money is not a commodity. Not in reality. Some people might say it is but they are fooling themselves. You cannot buy $10 with any less than $10 and you cannot sell $10 for any more than $10. (Not unless you're a bank and your customers are daft enough to fall for it!) Money only enables the exchange of products. Simple as that. The only real value is in the products themselves. Not in the money.
Think about this. Imagine you have a wallet full of notes. How does it make you feel? Good? Why? I'll tell you why. It's because you know you can gain more values by spending it. It's not the money itself, it's the beneficial qualities of the products you can buy with it that makes you feel good.
Money is not a value. Products are. Without products to trade, there would be no need for money.
What I'm getting you to see is that real value or wealth is in the products themselves. Money, value, wealth... all come from products. I hope that is clear.
If you have a job or are self-employed then you yourself are the product you are selling to your boss or clients. At that moment, you are the only product you are selling. And as there are only 24 hours in a day, you're extremely limited as to how much money you can make. You created the product (You) by training.
You added value to yourself... and then sold it to the best bidder (employer or clients). So one way you can make more money is to form a company and train others in what you do to create a bigger value to trade. But you will soon see that there are much better ways to create a bigger value than that...
Anyway, it now follows that in order to create money, wealth and value you must create products. In order to get rich you must create products. In order to retire in 30 years you must create at least one product (e.g., You trained for a job). In order to get rich and retire in 2 to 3 years you must create multiple products.
Whatever your goal in life, you must create a product or products in order to get your goal. And you cannot escape from that fact. If you try to escape it you will always be broke.
Okay, so you realize you must create products to create money and you realize money and wealth comes from products.
There is one more thing you need to understand...
Products are Wealth
You know that. But how do you decide which products to create?
But that's for another day!
Making money isn't difficult at all. You just have to know what you're doing. Now it's time for you to go out there and make more of it. More than you thought you would. More than anyone thought you would. More than you need.
Remember...
* When you create products, you create wealth. From nothing.
* When you create products, you raise the economy. Single handed.
* When you create products, you ultimately help people live longer.
* When you create products, you are a real person living a real life independently sustained by yourself.
That is powerful!
