Manifesting Is a Partnership

By Nancy Stremmel

The ego is always looking for gain. The spirit is a state of being looking for a state of being.
Mike Dooley suggests that when manifesting, we go for a feeling that we desire rather than for a bunch of stuff. This is exactly why his manifesting works well. Manifesting a feeling is something the spirit can understand and a prayer that can be forwarded directly to super conscious mind without interpretation.
I often see people looking for money, and if they listen to Napoleon Hill, or some of the other LOA teachers, they might be asking for specific amounts. I have not found this to be helpful. I did the budget. No cash fell from the sky.
I have never failed at asking for a house by the sea. It didn't really matter, how pathetic my economic situation was at the time. And, when I was a child/teenager, I was always able to go to any sailing event I chose, with a boat, a crew and a car. Sometimes these things are given to me, sometimes they are loaned indefinitely and sometimes they are given to me at such a low price that it is almost a gift.
Yet, I am not that great at manifesting abundant money, especially specific money. I have never been evicted though. Somehow, the money that I really need is always available when I need it. I have become relaxed and trusting about this. I do my job which is to be happy and fair and to bring as much hope, love and trust into the world as I can, and the Universe gives me the safety and security that I need to be able to do this work.
It's a partnership.
I love the Universe/Source/One, and my life. I have a great boss, work with a good team and have a great partner. Sometimes bad things happen in my life, but they always, always, always turn out to be good. Or, there are those life events such as the death of a family member, or an old friend, or a pet, which are not good or bad, but simply part of life.
Sometimes I have to negotiate for what I want. The thing that I want is peace of mind or a feeling of team work. I always do Ho'oponopono first, and I always get what I have asked for. - Always. I am ever grateful and delighted and surprised.
